Puget Sound Painters, Inc., submitted a bid in the amount of $45,354 to the state highway commission relative to cleaning and painting the main towers of the Tacoma Narrows Bridge. The bid was accompanied by a bid bond executed by the United Pacific Insurance Company in the sum of five per cent of the bid.
