The widow and major children of Charles Anderson, a colored man 58 years of age, instituted this suit to recover damages for his death which was caused by being struck by a truck owned by defendant, at about 7 o'clock p. m., on March 28, 1953, on Poydras Street, between Galvez and Broad Streets, at a point about 370 feet past Galvez Street.
