This suit was brought by A. W. Gregg to validate four oil and gas leases held by him and purportedly executed for and on behalf of the City of Corpus Christi. By way of cross-complaint, the City sought a decree cancelling the leases and named A. W. Gregg, Sam Susser and Leslie Wasserman as cross-defendants.
