The plaintiff, George Mauro, a citizen of New Jersey, brought this suit against the defendant, Packard Motor Car Company, Inc., a Michigan corporation, in the Superior Court of New Jersey. The suit was subsequently removed to the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey.
