The plaintiff sues the defendants for compensation under the Workmen's Compensation Law of the State of Louisiana, LSA-R.S. 23:1021 et seq., for total disability on account of injuries suffered by him on January 15, 1948, while engaged in dislodging a limb which had been previously cut from a tree on a right of way being cut by J.
