On the 10th of October, 1948, one M. L. Williamson, while employed by the Gulf-Tide Stevedores, Inc., fell into the water from a gang plank and was drowned. He left a widow and four young children. Upon his death, under the Longshoremen's & Harbor Workers' Compensation Act, as amended, 33 U.S. C.A. § 901 et seq., the widow became entitled to $18.37 per week until her death or remarriage, and the children jointly became entitled to ...
