Liberty Mutual Fire Insurance Company brought a trover action against L. I. Jones to recover a 1947 Pontiac automobile, alleged to be of the value of $1,967, and of the yearly value of $400. Jones answered denying all the material allegations of the petition except that he had possession of the automobile and that he refused to deliver it to the plaintiff.
