Defendant, Clarence Meehan, was originally charged with two counts of burglary. The first charge related to an alleged theft at the O.K. Morton Used Car Company lot on October 6, 1952, and the second to an alleged theft at Joe's Service Station in San Jose on October 11, 1952.
