In this suit three plaintiffs, Murphy Carriere, Elie Mistric, and Amos L. Carriere, are seeking the annulment of a tax sale as well as the cancellation of the inscription thereof made to the defendant of date June 29th, 1948, for the state and parish taxes for the year 1947. The tax sale to Dupre was attacked upon the following grounds:
