This matter is before us upon a petition and rule directed to respondent Ellwood R. Cope to appear and show cause why he should not henceforth pay to the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania the full per capita cost of maintenance of his wife, Anna M. Cope, at the Norristown State Hospital, from the date of such order and thereafter so long as she remains a patient at said hospital.
