MORRISON, Judge.

The offense is an attempt to persuade a female child under the age of 14 years to enter a motor vehicle for the purpose of committing an aggravated assault upon such child; the punishment, two years in jail.

This is the first prosecution to reach this Court under Article 535b, V.A.P.C., entitled "Enticing child for immoral purposes or for purpose of committing assault", enacted by the 51st Legislature in 1950. The definition of the offense...
