Plaintiffs, John and Gertrude Bennett, are owners of a farm situated on the east side of Canal road, at that point a north-south highway, in Eaton Rapids township, Eaton county, Michigan. Plaintiffs' northerly boundary is located 40 rods south of Petrieville road, an east-west highway which intersects Canal road approximately 80 rods to the north of plaintiffs' home.
