This action was instituted June 18, 1948, by plaintiff (petitioner), Harrison G. Travis, under the Army Reserve and Retired Personnel Service Law of 1940, 54 Stat. 858, as amended, 50 U.S.C.A. Appendix, § 403(d),1 to enforce his right to reemployment by Schwartz Manufacturing Co. of Two Rivers, Wisconsin, the defendant (respondent).
