The appellants, Brooks Parsley, William (Bill) Parsley, Jr., and Robert (Bob) Ballenger, were indicted jointly for the crime of maliciously striking and wounding Cookie Durham with intent to kill. At their joint trial all were convicted and sentenced to confinement in the penitentiary for two years.
