These are appeals by the Northern Pacific Railway Company from judgments entered in three actions brought by it on behalf of itself and connecting rail carriers against the United States, under 28 U.S.C.A. § 1346(a) (2), to recover unpaid balances of freight charges claimed to be due for the transportation of 37 carloads of ethyl alcohol shipped in April, 1943, by Defense Supplies Corporation
