This is an action for civil libel. The first trial of the lawsuit resulted in a verdict and judgment for the plaintiff in the sum of $21,250. On appeal, we reversed the judgment because of error in instructions to the jury (Ward v. Painters' Local Union, 41 Wn.2d 859, 252 P.2d 253).
