The plaintiff brought this action to recover a balance claimed to be due from the defendants. The court rendered judgment for the plaintiff against the named defendant upon the complaint. The defendants, in a counterclaim, alleged that, in another transaction, they engaged the plaintiff to manufacture dresses and that 692 of them were defective and as a result the defendants suffered a loss in their sale.
