On July 3, 1952, shortly after midnight plaintiff's 1952 International truck collided with the rear of decedent's 1941 Ford car which was stopped on Fleur Drive south of the Des Moines city limits. Decedent died of injuries received in the crash. Plaintiff brought this law action for damage to his truck. Defendant, decedent's administrator, counterclaimed for damages for decedent's death and for damage to the Ford. Trial resulted in verdict...
