The foregoing cases were consolidated with the consent of all the parties. The litigation arose from a collision between a bus of the defendant Matanuska Valley Lines, a common carrier, and a truck owned by the defendant Milton Williams, against whom the case was dismissed during the trial, and driven by the defendant Lois Williams.
