This appeal is from a judgment of conviction of perjury charged to have been committed before a grand jury of the United States in the District of Columbia.1 The indictment is in five counts. The third and fourth were abandoned during the trial because of insufficient evidence to sustain them. The case was submitted to the jury on the remaining three counts.
