Hill-Chase Steel Company of Maryland, hereinafter called the plaintiff, filed a motion for judgment against Morton Marks and Sons, Incorporated, hereinafter called the defendant, to recover the sum of $4,378.97, that being the balance of the selling price of certain processed steel alleged to have been sold by the plaintiff to the defendant. The defendant filed grounds of defense denying its promise to pay, or liability for, the price of the materials...
