COON, J.

Defendant operates a public museum near Cooperstown, N. Y., to which admission is charged. The complaint alleges that on October 11, 1948, plaintiff purchased an admission ticket to the museum, and while viewing an exhibit from a platform reached by three or four steps from the ground level, the platform and steps collapsed, throwing plaintiff to the floor and resulting in her injury.
