The defendant-appellant, St. Louis Public Service Company, appeals from a verdict and judgment for $9,000 in favor of the plaintiff-respondent, Kades R. Baker, a woman 56 years old, for injuries allegedly sustained by her in St. Louis on December 29, 1949, in a collision between one of appellant's Cass Avenue busses traveling south on Eighth Street and an automobile at or near its intersection with O'Fallon Street.
