The jury's verdict fell short by six cents of the sum of the plaintiff's property damage and his medical and hospital bills. The plaintiff suffered cuts over his left eyebrow and the bridge of his nose resulting in scars which were exhibited to the jury. According to the evidence, the cut over the eyebrow required suturing with two or three stitches.
