George Mueller, plaintiff in error and hereinafter referred to as defendant, was on September 18, 1952, indicted in the criminal court of Cook County. The first count of the indictment charged that the defendant did on August 2, 1952, in Cook County, then being a male person of the age of 17 years and upwards, take indecent liberties with a certain six-year-old female child, Janie Liebs...
