J. W. Coats, plaintiff and appellant herein, brought this action of jactitation against Fred Lee, making the usual allegations of possession and slander of title, Lee answered plaintiff's petition admitting the adverse possession of Coats and that he, Lee, claimed legal title to the property, the deraignment of which title he set out in his answer.
