In this action for damages for wrongful death, which was brought for the benefit of the widow and two young children of the deceased, the jury returned verdict of $25,000.00 for plaintiffs, who are now respondents. The defendant, now appellant, operated a private hospital for profit for the treatment of nervous and mental diseases, to which the deceased was first admitted as a patient on April 5, 1949, received electro-shock...
