Defendants Ivan M. Ansite, James R. Ansite and Maurice J. Ansite, are copartners doing business under the fictitious name of Acme Spray Painters.

They were under contract with the State of California, through the Department of Public Works, to clean and paint the Little Pico Creek Bridge in San Luis Obispo County.
