STEVENS, J.

On July 25, 1947, in a divorce action between the parties hereto, a divorce was granted to the plaintiff, the custody of their minor son, Melvin, was awarded to her, and a separation agreement between the parties was incorporated into the decree of the court.

That agreement of the parties, which became a portion of the order of the court, provided in part:

"* * * William E. Townsen shall pay for his" (Melvin's) "support the amount of twelve...
