1. Herbert Bowman was convicted of fornication under Code § 26-6001, and sentenced to 12 months "In a public works camp or otherwise . . ." The defendant filed his motion for a new trial on the general grounds and thereafter added eight special grounds. The court denied the motion, and the defendant assigns error on that judgment.

As to the general grounds, the defendant states in his brief that he insists upon them, but he did not argue...
