The plaintiff (one of the appellants in this appeal) brought this action for personal injuries and property damage alleged to have arisen out of a collision on April 10, 1952, between his truck and a truck owned by defendant Herbert Coats, on State Highway No. 40 at a point about three miles west of Columbia, Missouri.
