Plaintiff's husband, a resident of Louisiana, was killed working as ship repairman on the British Steamship Springbank while that vessel was at the dock in the harbor in New Orleans. The widow claims that her husband was killed through the negligence of the owner of the Springbank or its agents and brings this action under Article 2315 of the Louisiana Statutes Annotated-Civil Code for damages.
