This action was brought by Adair County, Missouri, as plaintiff, against the defendants, William Urban, Jr., a contractor, and The Travelers Indemnity Company, the surety on Urban's performance bond, for damages for the alleged breach of Urban's contract to erect a bridge for the County across the Chariton River at Yarrow, Missouri.
