Plaintiff, a brakeman in the employ of the defendant February 1, 1953, brought this action under the Federal Employer's Liability Act, 45 U.S.C. § 51 et seq., to recover damages for negligence. The jury on October 20, 1954 returned a verdict in favor of the plaintiff for $2,200, and judgment thereon was entered the same day.
