In his last will and testament dated May 11, 1936, and allowed by the probate court on May 19, 1943, Charles E. Simanton, late of St. Johnsbury deceased, gave certain articles of personal property to each of his two sons Fred and Paul E. and to Doris, wife of Fred. Then he directed that all his real estate be sold and directed that one-half of the proceeds should become the property
