On the 16th day of June, 1943, C.M. Murray and the Prague Drilling Company entered into a written contract under the terms of which plaintiff rented or leased to defendants certain drilling equipment, at specified rentals in the sum of $500, the drilling equipment to be returned to plaintiff at the expiration of 15 days after the delivery thereof to the defendants.
