These two original petitions were brought by an employee for compensation and for extended medical fees respectively under the workmen's compensation act, general laws 1938, chapter 300. They were heard together in the superior court and decrees were entered denying and dismissing both petitions on the ground that they were filed too late. From such decrees the employee has duly prosecuted appeals to this court.
