Hallberg was arrested on an information charging him with violation of section 905 of The Vehicle Code of May 1, 1929, P.L. 905, as amended, in that he allegedly operated over a state highway route in Somerset County a motor vehicle which was in excess of the maximum width permitted by law without having obtained a permit authorizing such operation.
