This action was brought by John Mahoney against Sailors' Union of the Pacific, a voluntary association, to secure a judgment setting aside an order expelling him from the union, commanding his reinstatement, and awarding damages. The court granted the relief prayed for by Mahoney and awarded judgment in the sum of $3,533.63, and a further award of $453.90 per month, less earnings from October 30, 1951, until such time as the judgment would become final...
