After a trial before a jury in the superior court petitioner was convicted of a violation of section 480 of the Penal Code, which prohibits the making or possessing of dies, plates or other apparatus used in counterfeiting.* He was sentenced to San Quentin, where he is now imprisoned. No appeal was taken from the judgment of conviction.
