This is a suit for damages on the official bond of a justice of the peace. The bond was made an exhibit to the amended declaration and is in the penal sum of $2,000.00 to insure that the said official "shall well and faithfully perform the duties of his office". The charge is that the officer did not comply with this obligation of the bond, but was guilty of misfeasance in office to the damage of the plaintiff...
