Plaintiff instituted a suit in the circuit court of Jackson County against defendant for the conversion of plaintiff's 1937 Tudor Ford automobile, and prayed for actual and punitive damages. Upon a trial to a jury a verdict was returned for the plaintiff in the sum of $525 actual damages and $492 punitive damages.
