Jackson, a sergeant in the Police Department of the City of New Orleans, seeking a judgment declaring and decreeing that the said Jackson has no claim against the City of New Orleans for back pay during the period January 15th, 1947, to December 18th, 1950, during which time the said police officer had been under suspension...
