Appellant was charged with the unlawful possession of intoxicating liquor for the purpose of sale in a dry area; and two further prior offenses were alleged for the purpose of the enhancement of the punishment. On the trial before a jury he was found guilty and his punishment was assessed at a fine of $1,000 and 365 days in jail.
