Plaintiff in error, as plaintiff in the trial court, upon a complaint seeking damages sustained as a result of defendants' negligence in an automobile accident, obtained a favorable jury verdict. Defendants filed a motion for directed verdict or, in the alternative, a new trial, on the ground of insufficient evidence to support the verdict. On hearing, the trial court set aside the jury verdict and granted a new trial solely upon the issue of negligence...
