The indictment charged that, "on lands acquired for the use of the United States and under the exclusive jurisdiction of the United States, Marvin Lee Austin and Raymond Lesley Button with premeditation shot and murdered Jesus Alvarez Gonzalez".1 Each defendant entered a plea of not guilty.
