This appeal is prosecuted from a verdict and judgment in favor of the plaintiff-appellee entered in a suit brought by plaintiff to recover for personal injuries alleged to have been sustained by reason of the negligence of the defendant-appellant.

The plaintiff at the time of the injury was employed by the Federal Government as a mail carrier, and as a part of his duties was required to load the mail on defendant's trains. He was injured when...
