On September 5, 1952 a county attorney's information was filed in the District Court of Lee County at Keokuk wherein the defendant, Lloyd Woodson, was accused of the crime of second degree murder. It was therein alleged the defendant "* * * did murder Norman Juhl contrary to the provisions of Section 690.3 of the Iowa Code of 1950, I.C.A., and against the peace and dignity of the State of Iowa."
