The Manufacturers Light and Heat Company and Home Gas Company have petitioned this court to review and set aside an order of the Federal Power Commission on the ground that the Commission exceeded its statutory authority in directing them by the order to sell and deliver natural gas to three local gas distributing companies because to do so will impair the petitioners' ability to render adequate service to their customers.
