The plaintiff brought an application to the Superior Court under § 8153 of the General Statutes for an order directing the defendant to proceed with an arbitration pursuant to a written agreement. The defendant filed an answer which contained a special defense and a counterclaim. The plaintiff demurred to both. The court sustained the demurrers and the defendant has appealed.2
